What do I need to submit?+
Submit one current electricity bill per service location and the contract-expiration date. Up to five bills may be submitted in one email where applicable.
Why do you need my electricity bill?+
For AEP accounts, your bill gives Nulite the information needed to obtain a 12-month kilowatt-hour usage history from AEP. That usage volume lets suppliers evaluate and compete for your business account.
What is the Vendor Transaction Allowance?+
It is a business-to-business benefit that an eligible business may receive after completing an eligible new electricity agreement and satisfying program requirements.
When is payment made?+
Approved allowances are generally paid approximately 60 days after the eligible new agreement begins service, subject to verification and required documentation.
Does every business qualify?+
No. Eligibility depends on the business account, market, agreement terms, required documentation, Nulite’s program requirements, and verification.
Can I sign before my current agreement ends?+
Yes. You can pre-sign a new electricity agreement up to one year before your current contract expires, with new service scheduled to begin after your existing agreement ends. Nulite will help you review the available options and coordinate the start date.
What if electricity rates drop significantly during my contract?+
If rates drop significantly, Nulite will review whether switching agreements could deliver meaningful savings after any early termination fee and other applicable costs. We will advise you if ending your current agreement early makes financial sense. For example, if your early termination fee is $1,000 and switching would save more than $2,000 over the remaining contract term, your net savings would exceed $1,000 before any other applicable costs. Any recommendation will depend on your contract terms, usage, and available rates.
